Welcome to the website of the Global Network Interconnectivity (GNI) Project - a project being conducted by the Information Science Dept. at the University of Otago, in cooperation with industry partners Open Cloud and Harmonic.
The objective of this project is to develop research, enterprise training, and knowledge sharing activities to support new ICT technologies, such as JAIN SLEE, that are contributing to telecommunications, multimedia, and information systems convergence.
The Global Network Interconnectivity project aims to provide a framework to build a globally competitive industry around pioneering work in the area of next generation networks, and to remain responsive and connected to the evolving international, educational and market opportunities that ICT offers.
